Renovations
Our step-by-step design phases for renovations enables
easy decision-making.
Phase I
Pre-design
This stage is crucial to the outcome of your project. We begin by researching your likes, dislikes, priorities, budget,
and timeline. We conduct a lifestyle and aesthetics questionnaire as well as take measurements and photos of the existing interior and exterior
space. Using the information gathered, we draft AutoCAD drawings of the existing space.
Phase II
Concept Design Development
We prepare a minimum of two design concepts
for each project, drafted on AutoCAD.
Phase III
Finish Selections and Specifications
We present to you and help you select all interior and exterior
finishes. We then prepare a specification document, which outlines the details of each material and any installation instructions.
Phase IV
Working Drawings
We prepare working drawings, drafted on AutoCAD,
based on the final approved concept and finish selections. Each
set of drawings includes dimensioned floor plans, elevations, sections
and details, general location of electrical components, plumbing
components, heating and ventilation components etc. This set of drawings, paired with the finish specifications, make up the final documents needed to get accurate quotations from general contractors and also to be able to construct the project.
Phase V
Project Coordination
We submit the specifications and working drawings
to contractors and trades for quotations. After the contractor is
hired, we organize a construction schedule. We meet with general
contractors, trades and clients on a regular basis before, during
and after construction to discuss and resolve any issues and make
decisions.
Decorating
For any decorating project or for simple walk-through
consultations, we are here for you on an as-needed basis. We offer
the following services:
Consulting
We meet with you at your home, at a store, showroom or office where
we educate and advise you on various interior design options and
help you make decisions to obtain an ideal result.
Research
We independently explore appropriate design options and material
selections from numerous sources based on your project requirements.
Detail Drawings
We prepare detail drawings by hand or using AutoCAD. They include:

Documenting
We produce written records of selections or design advice including
